  1. Introduction

    This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are managed on the MOTOVENTS platform. By purchasing tickets or organizing events through MOTOVENTS, users agree to adhere to this policy.

  2. Event Cancellation by Organizer
    1. Full Refund: If an event is canceled by the organizer, attendees are entitled to a full refund, minus any third-party charges (e.g., payment gateway fees), if applicable.
    2. Notification: Organizers must promptly inform attendees of any event cancellations and initiate the refund process within a reasonable timeframe.
    3. Processing Time: Refunds may take up to 7-10 business days to reflect in the attendee's account, depending on the payment provider.
  3. Attendee-Initiated Cancellations

    Organizers are required to select one or more of the following default refund policies for their events:

    1. No Refunds: All ticket sales are final; no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
    2. Full Refund Before a Specific Period: Attendees can receive a full refund if they cancel within a designated period before the last ticket booking date.
    3. Partial Refund Before a Specific Period: A partial refund is available for cancellations made within a specified timeframe prior to the last ticket booking date.
    4. Refund with Cancellation Fee: Refunds will be processed after deducting a predetermined cancellation fee.
    5. Refund Only if Event is Cancelled: Refunds are provided solely if the organizer cancels the event.
    6. Transferable Ticket: No refunds are offered, but tickets can be transferred to another individual up to a certain time before the last ticket booking date.
    7. Refund Based on Weather Conditions: In case of extreme weather, the event may be rescheduled, or a partial refund will be provided.
    8. Refund After Organizer’s Review: Refund requests will be reviewed by the organizer, with approval at their discretion.
  4. Refund Processing
    1. Method: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase.
    2. Timeline: The time taken for a refund to reflect in the attendee’s account may vary depending on the bank or payment provider.
    3. Platform Responsibility: MOTOVENTS is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions.
  5. Ticket Transfers & Resale
    1. Transfers: Some events may allow ticket transfers instead of refunds. If applicable, the organizer will specify the transfer process in the event details.
    2. Resale: Ticket resale outside of MOTOVENTS is not permitted unless explicitly approved by the organizer.
  6. Fraudulent Refund Claims
    1. Consequences: Attendees found submitting fraudulent refund requests may be banned from the platform.
    2. Legal Action: MOTOVENTS reserves the right to investigate any suspicious transactions and take legal action if necessary.
  7. Disputes & Escalations
    1. Process: If an attendee disputes a refund decision, they may contact MOTOVENTS support within 7 days of receiving the refund decision.
    2. Mediation: MOTOVENTS may mediate disputes but holds no liability for decisions made by event organizers.
  8. Changes to Refund & Cancellation Policy
    1. Modifications: MOTOVENTS reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
    2. Notification: Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
